Hotel Cost Information
The TLT Collaborative will subsidize the cost of rooms at the Hilton Charlotte University Place for UNC participants, or at the Holiday Inn University Executive Park next door (this is our overflow hotel, as the Hilton has sold out). Here are the details:

Up to three hotel nights (TuesdayThursday) at the state per diem rate (currently $57.25 plus tax) will be covered for all participants from the most distant UNC campuses.

Up to two hotel nights (WednesdayThursday) at the state per diem rate will be covered for all other UNC participants who live and work more than 35 miles from Charlotte.

Both private and shared rooms are available at the conference hotel. UNC participants who share rooms will not incur any additional cost, as the cost of shared rooms is double the state rate ($114.50).

UNC participants who prefer a private room will incur a charge of approximately $20 per night, including tax, as the cost of private rooms prior to the subsidy is $75.
Make a Hotel Reservation

Please reserve your hotel room as soon as possible. Please note that the former deadline of Wednesday, March 10, is no longer in effect, and you may make reservations at any time.

You may cancel a reservation without penalty any time before 4 p.m. on your arrival date. After that, you will be responsible for a no show charge.

When making your reservation, please keep the following in mind:

High speed internet access is available in some rooms. To request this amenity, ask the reservation agent or mention it in the Comments section of the online reservation form.

If you will be sharing a room, please include the names of both persons when you make your reservation.
We recommend that you reserve your room at the Hilton Charlotte University Place by using the hotel web site. Be sure to enter our group code: UNT.
You can also reserve by phone at 704-547-7444. If you are sent to the central Hilton reservation system and the person you are speaking with is unaware of our group rate, please ask that your call be forwarded to somebody at the hotel. Again, be sure to mention our group code: UNT.
To reserve a room at the Holiday Inn, please call 704-547-0999, letting the reservation agent know that you are attending the TLT Conference at the Hilton.
