The UNC TLT Collaborative and the UNC Faculty Assembly invite UNC faculty, staff, librarians, and administrators to submit a proposal for the 2004 UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology Conference. Proposals about your collaborative work, including projects that involve educational, non-profit, commercial, or government organizations from outside UNC, are particularly encouraged.

The submission deadline has passed. Proposals are under review by a committee of your peers with expertise in TLT issues. Notification of accepted proposals will be provided by late February.

Before developing your proposal, be sure to read about this years topics and session types. In your 150 word abstract, reflect on and explain the emphasis of your session, for example:

  • Future focused: emerging technologies / inspirational visions

  • Practical: presentations, demonstrations, and workshops that provide specific skills and/or knowledge to take back and use

  • Information sharing: sharing of experiences and lessons learned with both peers and people in other roles

  • Information gathering: feedback on future directions or on work in progress

Also consider the audience for your session, both during and after the conference. Who should attend this session? How will participants benefit from the session? What materials, skills, etc. will participants receive at the session? What materials slides, handouts, web links will you provide for the electronic proceedings on the conference web site? Space is provided to answer these questions on the electronic submission form.
