History The UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology Conference has a history dating back to 2000, when a retreat for TLT center directors and instructional technology staff was held at Appalachian State University to help define the role of the newly formed TLT Collaborative. With the addition of faculty, library professionals, and representatives from academic and continuing education programs in 2001, the focus of the event shifted to community building and professional development. In 2002, the UNC Faculty Assembly joined the TLT Collaborative as a co-sponsor, which significantly increased the number of faculty attending the conference. The 2003 conference included several new elements, including a pre-conference seminar, poster sessions, and corporate sponsorship. We invite you to join us in 2004.
