Deadline extended: Proposals and applications can be submitted through Wednesday, March 13. As a result, we've changed the acceptance notification date to Wednesday, March 27.
Conference to be held at the Koury Convention Center: The Joseph S. Koury Convention Center, located in Greensboro, is the "Largest Hotel and Convention Center in the Carolinas!" Lodging will be provided by the Sheraton and Park Lane hotels, which are both associated with this facility.

Q: If I cannot attend all three days of the conference, is there any reduction in the registration fee?
A: No, there is no fee reduction.

A: When you register online (accepted participants only), you will be asked to send us a check.
Q: Can you tell me more about the fee collection process?
A: Your $60 check should be made payable to The University of North Carolina. A form to print and send with the check will be provided to you during online registration.
Travel and lodging
Q: How do I reserve a hotel room?
A: When you register online (accepted participants only), you will be provided with a hotel reservation form to print and send (or fax) to your assigned hotel. No call-in reservations will be accepted.

Submitting a proposal

A: The form is no longer available, as the deadline for submitting proposals has passed.
Q: Can you explain the proposal review process?
A: Proposals from faculty members will be reviewed by the Faculty Assembly's Technology Committee. Other proposals will be reviewed by the Conference Program Committee.
Q: Will internet connections be available?
A: Yes. If your proposal is accepted, you will be asked for complete information about your technology needs.
Q: What is the proposal submission process for people who want to present together?
A: Each co-presenter should fill out a proposal submission form. For the purposes of this form, please designate one person as the lead presenter. Further instructions can be found on the submission form.
Q: Which form do I fill out if I am a panelist?
A: Please fill out a proposal submission form. The panel moderator should be designated as the lead presenter (see the previous question).
Q: If I propose a panel, how soon do I need to select panelists?
A: Although you do not need to list specific panelists in your proposal, you should begin to identify them as soon as possible. We will need this information by the end of March. Note that any panelists who can be identified now should fill out a proposal submission form (see the previous question).
Q: What happens if my proposal is not selected?
A: You will be added automatically to the general pool of prospective conference participants.
Q: In addition to my proposal, do I need to also submit an application to participate?
A: No.
