Higher Education Washington, Inc. (HEWI) is pleased to announce their first annual e-learning conference, Distance Learning: The Future of Education. The conference is scheduled for October 29-30, at the Inn and Conference Center, University of Maryland University College. This two-day conference will explore the many aspects of online learning its effects on the education world as we know it. Featured topics to be discussed will include history and trends of e-learning, virtual educators, intellectual property in the digital age, and preparing for the global classroom. The conference will also focus on the issue of student loans, what makes a web-based course successful and the many accreditation issues facing distance education today. |
