TLT Conference Update, 5/11
It's hard to believe, but the conference is now less than two weeks away. In order for us to make final preparations, please be certain that you have:
1. Received e-mail indicating your hotel assignment. Be sure to contact your hotel if you need accommodations on nights other than Wednesday and Thursday. The hotels will send out general information packets next week.
2. Correctly specified information that will appear on your conference badge. This includes both your name and the track in which you plan to participate. If you do not designate a track, your badge will say "Undecided". We encourage you to make a preliminary track selection at this time, even if you think you might want to switch later on. Please be sure that your name and track are in place by Monday, May 14.

We are still looking for hosts for the Birds of a Feather dinners on Thursday. As these dinners are simply informal gatherings of people who would enjoy conversing about a particular topic, hosting is quite easy: the primary function of the host is to ensure that participants' meals are paid for. You are welcome to suggest discussion themes, but it is not necessary to do so.
The following topics still need hosts:
- Handheld / wireless technology (new topic!)
- Assistive technologies
- Faculty conference planning
- Methods of sharing expertise among campuses
- Campus organizational structures re TLT
- No agenda (just share a meal with other conference participants)
Along with the topic you'd like to host, please let us know what kinds of restaurants you prefer, and we'll do our best to place your BOF accordingly!
