TLT Conference Update, 4/24

Hotel selection and other updates to your personal information can now be accessed through the newly available Change or add to an existing registration link in the participants section of our web site (unctlt.org/conference2001/participants.cfm). You'll be routed through TLT portal login, if necessary, and then to the main update management page.

Please be sure to visit each sub-area so that you can make all of your interests and needs known to us. If you've previously e-mailed me about hotels, presentations, or other conference-related matters, it is still necessary to fill out the relevant sections of the update pages.

Hotel preference information is needed by April 28; assignments will be announced on April 30. If you should happen to miss the deadline, we will still ensure that you receive a room; however, selection may be quite limited. In this section, please note that a new link has been added to a pdf document that contains a hotel comparison table for your convenience. If you are unable to open this document, you can download a copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html.

We have noticed that occasionally a page will load without information that was previously entered. This glitch is typically caused by web browser page caching problems; a quick page refresh / reload should cause the information to display correctly. If you do encounter any difficulties with the site, please send me a detailed message describing the situation.

Finally, I would like to thank Paul Brinich of the TLT Collaborative for all of his hard work in developing the database code for the registration system, and for his ongoing assistance with general web and internet issues.
