The Dalhousie University Office of Instructional Development and Technology is pleased to announce the 7th annual Dalhousie Conference on University Teaching and Learning. The Conference provides an opportunity for teachers, students, and staff to engage in lively discussion on issues related to teaching and learning, participate in workshops and demonstrations, and consider questions on the nature and purpose of the university. This yearŐs conference theme is Preserving and Adapting Core Values in the Contemporary University. Institutions of higher education face growing pressures to adapt to the changing needs of Canadian society. As universities seek to enhance the studentsŐ learning experiences, many issues and questions arise for university teachers and administrators. |
