Southern Regional Learning Communities Conference - Transforming Education for a 'New South' |
|
With one of the nation's leading authorities on learning communities and many other seasoned learning community faculty, student affairs professionals and administrators this conference will provide an opportunity for those new to learning communities to explore such issues, to hear about the promises (and the pitfalls) of this increasingly widespread movement. It will also allow seasoned learning community leaders to share their research and reflections with those just initiating (or considering developing) learning communities on their campus. This conference seeks to extend the learning communities movement deeper into the higher education philosophy and practice of the emerging new south. |
