June IDEA Seminar: Changing Practices in Evaluating Teaching

The IDEA Center is very pleased to sponsor an especially timely seminar focused on changing practices in evaluating teaching. The seminar will offer pragmatic, ready-to-use information about the use and abuse of specific evaluation strategies, state-of-the art techniques, and important trends. For that reason, it will serve as a practical guide for improved faculty performance and promotion tenure decisions. The facilitators are nationally prominent educators who have done seminal work in improvement of teaching evaluation. They excel in offering practical suggestions and recommendations in a straightforward and non-technical manner.
