| The biennial conference of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) is the major public event of the NAD. They are held every two years, in even-numbered years, in various parts of the country. This coming year, the 46th Biennial Conference will be held in Washington, D.C. on July 3-8, 2002 -- just before the international DeafWay II festival held at Gallaudet University.
