Office of Minorities in Higher Education (OMHE)

OMHE supervises ACE's Minority Initiative, launched in 1987. OMHE is a major source of information on the educational status of minorities, programs to improve the campus climate for persons of color, and the challenges faced by academe ti increase enrollment and degree attainment by ethnic minorities. OMHE provides assistance to institutiions seeking to improve recruitment/retention of minority students, faculty and administrators. OMHE sponsors a biennial conference, Educating All of One Nation.
