Article regarding Stanford University as the first American test site to join Saint Mary's Liberated Learning Project. The speech recognition technology that tears down barriers for students with disabilities will be tested by a group of Stanford's prominent professors. The efforts of the Liberated Learning Project at the Atlantic Centre are designed to eliminate one of these major barriers by utilizing IBM's speech recognition applications to improve access to the classroom lecture. |
