North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS): Helping People with Disabilities
This is the home page of DHHS. DHHS helps North Carolina children and youths with disabilities: (1) through coordinating early intervention and school-to-work transition, (2) by promoting independent living, and (3) by providing residential services for the disabled around the state. This site has many link to many other state agencies that the DHHS works closely with to coordinate and provide requested services.
