UNCA Distance Learning Services

As a campus and community wide resource, the mission of UNC Asheville's Distance Learning Services (DLS) is to facilitate the enhancement of education, research, industry and business at UNC Asheville, the Asheville community and the Western North Carolina region. The objective of Distance Learning Services is to manage UNCA's advanced two way interactive videoconferencing facilities for educational, research and business communication applications via the North Carolina Research and Education Network (NC-REN) and North Carolina Information Highway (NCIH) video networks. UNCA Currently has two such facilities, The Steelcase Teleconference Center and the Square D Teleconference Center.
